Professor Prelevic’s first consultation fee is £340 and a follow-up consultation is £240. Professor Prelevic reserves the right to levy supplementary charges for protracted or detailed further correspondence whether in a written form (additional report), by telephone or e-mail.
These fees fall broadly within those recommended by the British Medical Association and accepted by various private health insurers. Most consultations and conditions will be covered by medical insurance but sometimes there are limits and exclusions.
Our contract is with our patient, and whilst, when medically justified, we shall be prepared to write letters to our patient’s insurer, we shall regard the patient as being liable for all outstanding professional fees.
